The clock struck midnight. The chimes ran through the room. The police entered the Attic via the staircase, and called over Sailor Noon to the Storage Room. It was clear that they had begun discussing what they uncovered. It had felt like hours had passed, before the police officer re-entered the room. In a big, booming voice, he called out to everyone in there.
While the officers were talking, it felt like someone had flown out of the room, but nobody could remember who it was.
“So. On the night after Isa Fujihawa gets elected as Prime Minister, one of you kills her apparent boyfriend, and you can’t even reach a conclusion on who you think did it? Pathetic. All of you are under arrest until further notice.”
“And, on top of that, there were members of a terrorist organisation here, and you think it’s Dio & Naru Yagami? I’m sorry, but after hearing what Sailor Noon had to say, I cannot agree. Unless you can give me a good reason to, all of you will be suspected of High Treason”
He paused, he remembered that they at least found one member of the group.
“Ah, as for Cloud, perhaps it’s best if we keep that a secret. It’s best if the general public doesn’t find out a figurehead like him was a terrorist. Besides, it’s wrong to talk about the deceased in bad manor”
The next day…
There had been a news reporter who managed to find out what happened. It didn’t take long for this story to pick up like wildfire, but, no one had managed to solve the murder. Let alone the members of the organisation. After so much evidence had been tampered with, it truly became an unsolvable case.
Perhaps we should see what happened to our characters after the events of this party.
Isa Fujihawa - Not long after getting elected, the people had become outraged by the unsolved murder, placing the blame of the murder on her, it was too much for her to handle. She eventually dissolved the government, and left the party. Deeming herself unfit to lead. She never truly was the same person after the party. After spending many days and nights crying and alone, in an act of desperation to break away from the loneliness, she got together with Nagisa, though the hole in her heart could never be fixed. Eventually, she settled down with Nagisa, hoping to start a new life as an entrepreneur of a fast food business. Years past, and over drinks one night with Nagisa, she found out that it was his doing. After realising that he, who she thought was the last person she could trust, she committed suicide, leaving the business and their child to Nagisa. She never told anyone about what she found out.
Naru Yagami - Naru had returned to his boss, the leader of D.I.C.E, and reported his events, though he had no idea who had actually committed the murder, his boss, Kokichi Oma, did. He also managed to figure out who the members of Alu’s Ear were. After blackmailing Isa into dissolving the government, he managed to have a discussion with the new leader of the party, Mike Rho Soft Excel, following his command, in turn, allowing D.I.C.E to have control over the Japanese government. Naru is, of course, promoted for his good work.
Dan Avidian - Trying to forget the traumatic events that he had witnessed over the nights end, and during the police interrogation, Dan returned to his life on The Game Grumps. He continued to do what he did best, but it was clear that something had changed him. He never truly was the same after that night. And, he would never be the same again after what happens next. Out of the blue, one day, Arin Hanson had supposedly committed suicide. He knew Arin too well, he was sure that he was killed, but never got the backing to open an investigation past suicide. He and Isa had drifted apart as well, due to her shutting herself off from everyone, focusing only on her business to keep her mind of things. By the time she committed suicide, it took him months after the fact to find out, despite it making front pages news for over a week.
Nagisa Shiota - His plan had gone through flawlessly. He was never caught for his crimes, though occasionally receiving letters from someone who simply went by “K. O.”, they were always assassination missions. He was being blackmailed. After Isa had relinquished herself from her governmental duties, they got together and settled down. Once Isa had started her business, it seemed that maybe, just maybe, they could go back to living a normal life. Such was not the luck of Nagisa. Isa had changed, she never really was the same. She began spending more and more time working, and less time with him. She had slowly become an alcoholic, before one night, they had drinks together. Nagisa may have had a little too much to drink, and could not remember his actions. What he could remember, though, was what he saw the next day. Isa, or rather, what was left of her. She had committed suicide, leaving her business and child to Nagisa alone. He may have been a yandere, but at least he was a good single parent.
Arin Hanson - Arin attempted to live a relatively normal life after this. Everything seemed to be going according to plan, when all of a sudden, Mike left the party. No matter, he would just do the dirty work himself. However, this was for waste, as before he finished preparing a Coup D’etat, he was assassinated by K. O.
Sumireko Hanabusa - Sumireko was perhaps, one of the people who benefited most from this. After apparently dealing with the situation so well, she was mysteriously offered a role as the Chief of Police, despite never joining the police force before. She accepted this role temporarily, and made sure the Cloud case could never be reopened, by destroying all the evidence. After that, she returned to her life as a heiress, never giving Isa another thought. Until, she committed suicide. She was invited by Nagisa to her funeral, while everyone was crying, she didn’t know why, but she felt oh so happy about it.
Mike Rho Soft Excel - Mike Rho Soft was of course, overjoyed at this. He used the situation to his advantage and became the new leader of the party, after Isa had dissolved the government. Shortly after, he left the group Alu’s Ear, power was more fun than he initially anticipated. His fun was cut short, when he began receiving blackmail letters, signed only by K. O. He became a puppet, and slowly turned Japan into a totalitarian government.
Yennefer Rencelaw - Yennefer remained unaffected by this whole ordeal, she went back to acting like it was nothing. She never really was a stakeholder in this, after all.
Valerie Bridges - Valerie had cracked under all the pressure, from the police interrogations and all, she believed Isa was the greatest, and here they were not only accusing her, but also Isa of crimes she was certain she did not commit. I'm not sure how to finish this lol
Dio - Shortly after the party ended, he had hightailed it out of there, with the bag of valuables in hand. The police attempt to make chase, but to no avail. Days later, they had caught Dio, or so they thought, it was just another innocent Dio, but, they had no way of proving that. He was arrested shortly after. The real Dio, in this case, left unattended to his antics until he died, many years later.
Lee - Lee was too young to properly understand what had happened and wasn’t affected by it too much. After he graduated High School, he became a professional gambler, due to his luck, he always knew when to play. After winning riches, he had wanted to reopen the Cloud case, but never gathered enough backing for it by the police, perhaps they were not affected by her bribe.
Sailor Noon - Due to his failure solving the case, Sailor Noon stayed as a detective. He dedicated his entire life to solving this case, but once Isa committed suicide, he believed the case could be put to rest.
Erika Furudo - After the events of the night, Erika was never seen again. Some say that when Isa’s body was discovered, Erika was there as well.
