It's difficult when they don't know how Ned works. "I can think of three possibilities for why Ned went missing in the showers.

1: Someone stole Ned while Cedric was showering to kill it.
2: Ned left on its own while Cedric was showering to kill someone else.

I won't lie. There are a lot of suspicious points in Cedric's alibi that could have been part of a murder plan, but can we rule out any of these other options with evidence?"

  “What if....the truth is even stranger? Maybe he was wearing his cloak to hide something? And I’m not talking embarrassing tattoos resulting from poor choices in college. We’ve already had one phony talent, why not another? It’s obvious to all of us that Cedric is the real puppet.”
Dio grinned, proud of his own metaphor while the dripping irony was utterly lost to his tiny cloned brain.

“What if...that isn’t just metaphor? Ned controlled Cedric and made him attack Kyle but before he could finish the job Kyle fought back knocking him back to reality where Cedric Panicked and threw ned into the water-but it was too late and Kyle died soon after. Cedric stashed the body in the pool room, pretending to find it later. He followed the rest of us to make sure that we would be witness not only to him being in the shower room; where he kept his cloak on to hide any wounds wash the blood off but also the pool where he ‘found’ Kyle’s body.”

He shrugged. “ You know, just ..a start work from there I guess.”

Dio stood quietly at his podium for a moment, considering every possibility he had just spewed out of his pretty little head.

“ I can’t get over how...convenient Cedric’s timing and location is, but the more i think it, well, the simplest answer is usually the correct one. He said ‘Ned didn’t tell me he was leaving’ but that was a lie. They had a plan. ned told him to go to the shower we he knew we would see him, and it would be easy to believe that he’d love Ned behind. meanwhile, ned slipped out to murder Kyle while we witnessed Cedric in the shower. Later, on he would meet with Ned in the pool and find the body. But, the plan went wrong. Ned and Kyle killed each other and Cedric found both corpses. He hid Kyle’s corpse and only pretended to find ned for the first time when we showed it to him. Could even be that Cedric threw Ned in the water himself so we wouldn’t tie him to Kyle’s murder.”

Amaya replied to the answer about when exactly was Battler's body was found or presumably found.

"Uh...I said about 18:30, so meaning....he was killed around 17:30 to 18:00 or 18:00-18:30." (Sorry, I am still confused with the timings)

She then turns to Karen and replies her

"To paralyze someone...to protect myself...at night...it's every man for themselves....isn't it..."


Amaya now lost in the thought of her own flower world and then was back on Earth


"Well...this is turning into a more interesting...I believe...from what I've heard there's a possibility that Cedric could have killed Ned, but I doubt that...because....if he gone missing, anyone who snuck into the Showers to grab Ned as he was left unattended. Because, if I remember correctly, the trolley does stay at a place a minute or more, they just need to jump in and grab and take the trolley and take a ride around. If that is so...I fear Ned must have been killed earlier than I have specifically mentioned."

She paused as her eyes widen when she spoke that

"...the...only other person who last saw Ned.....was....me...I...was with Cedric...and Ned in the Trolley..."

She grabs her sling bag tighter 
This...this can't be....the....coincidence...how....how....could it be....she refused to believe it.

Amaya continues while she shakes the feeling

"I....didn't...no....this...has gotta be a mistake...the killer...there must have been another explaination....!"

Todd shakes his head at Amaya. "No, it's not possible that anyone was on the trolley after yours, Amaya. I was at the entrance and saw no one in the next car after you left.

The only people in the Trolleyway area were you, Cedric, Ned, Dio, and Mr. Edgeworth. And Cedric, Dio, and Mr. Edgeworth are able to back each other's alibis for the time while Cedric showered.

If anyone stole Ned, it would be you, Amaya." He is surprised to have found reasoning that incriminates Amaya from her own testimony.

"It's not just that. You stayed in the Trolleyway for most of the killing period, and you were in the Pool area at the same time when Kyle was there too."

He takes a breath. "Can you tell us what exactly you were doing during the killing period? The whole story?"

Cedric gives a very confused look to Kyoko.

"No, he wasn't with me. I have no idea where he was. That's why I was looking for him."

Cedric then shakes his head and looks around to everyone else.

"I think it would be easy to tell if I'd done any killing. I'm not left-handed."

He raises his left hand, and uses his fingers to pull back his right sleeve to remind them all of his stub arm.

"I believe Kyle was killed with a knife, and Battler with a syringe, right? Wouldn't it be easy to tell if someone were to use their non-dominant hand for anything like that? I suppose now would be a good time to share the results of my investigation into Kyle's corpse."

"Kyle's throat had been slit.

There was a zip tie wrapped around his neck, just underneath the wound. Blood had seeped down his clothes from the wound; though the zip tie is more bloody on the inside than the outside.

I searched his body for possessions.

In Kyle's pockets, I found a paring knife, the 4 suit keys discovered on Phoenix's body last trial, and small pen and notepad, and a small stun baton. Strapped to Kyle's leg, I found a leg strap with an attached combat knife. I don't find the gun he previously pulled on me.

I turn my attention to the storage cabinet his body was in. However, other than a few spots of blood on the door, likely where he was pressed up while shoved inside, the large cabinet looks to be in order.

Obviously I didn't answer it. Ned's always made sure I'm careful about things the government might be using to spy on me, and I know the Duobook is one of those tools!

Later, I received an updated report, adding '...Don't you just hate receiving the outdated autopsy report?

Two more things on Kyle's body; a bloody Swiss army knife don't know how I missed that, and a magnet.'"

Cedric closes his Duobook.

"And that's another good reason I wouldn't have killed Kyle. He pulled a gun on me earlier! I would never be so foolish as to willingly approach him knowing he had a lethal weapon. So no, I would not have killed Kyle, for fear that he would kill me himself. I also don't think I would have been able to have killed Kyle in the brief period I was alone between when I last saw him and when I discovered the body. Nor could I have killed Battler, as my hand prevents it."

He pulls back his hood and glares around the room.

"And never would I have done something so heinous as to kill my own Master. He and I built a fort together! We had so many things we were planning to do here, and now we can never share those experiences. Did you not see how I searched for him? I am nothing without my Master."

He gives a timid look to Edgeworth and Todd before putting his hood back over his head.

"Someone has murdered him. I theorize that my poor Ned witnessed the murder of Kyle, as his body was not far away, and then the person who killed Kyle kicked Ned into the electrified water to silence him forever."

"I know this has been mentioned already but Ayano have been together all night and we did meet with Kyle and Karen shortly before the former's death... Ill go give our full alibi."

A1: "Ayano and I leave our room; apparently, at the same time as Tyler. We were heading to the Kitchen, so we left  together; at the same time as Judy and Todd enter from the Courtyard, heading to the Trolley Way."

"The three of us went through the Courtyard, noting Seven lounging about in the waters of the fountain, as we head to the kitchen. When we arrived, we saw Akira and Mr. Watoshi inside; Watoshi is looking for alcohol, and Akira is cooking himself a rice and chicken meal."

"Duokuma comes in shortly after, and talked to Watoshi about booze for a moment. Then, Tyler, with granola bars, and Watoshi, grabbing some muffins, head out to the Cafe, while Ayano and I went about making hot dogs. The three of us remaining in the kitchen finish cooking at about the same time (Around 20-25 minutes into the Action), and head out to eat. Watoshi and Tyler are still out here as we sat and ate. Shortly after we did. Miles passed through from the east entrance of the Cafe, to the Kitchen."

A2: "Tyler was first to leave, heading back into the Kitchen. Then, Watoshi calls for Duokuma, and requests some alcohol from him. Next, Akira gets up, and heads towards the Gym. Finally, Ayano took the dishes from mine, herself, and Akira's place, and heads into the Kitchen to do them and told me to wait for her."

"Miles comes out of the Kitchen maybe 5 minutes later, with a hamburger. It was another 5 minutes before Ayano returns, carrying two cups of hot chocolate; then we both head out to Television Room.

"In the Courtyard, we saw Dio, sitting in the south-east patch of grass, who makes a comment about 'everyone being gay today'. We ignore him, and walk through the empty, untouched Gaming Room, into the Television Room where we wanted to watch some movies but then we discovered a brick fort, complete with a metal roof and door, built around the couch seat closet to the fireplace. If that wasn't bad enough, there's also a shopping carriage full of Lunchables between it and the fireplace."

A3: "Ayano and I eventually decide to head out to the Courtyard, passing by Seven heading inside as we did. Shortly after, Amaya passed through north->south. A couple minutes later, the Rosenthal twins come out from the north building, and approach us and started a conversation with us."

"While we were talking, Mr. Watoshi and Kyoko pass east->north; at the same time, Miles, carrying a crowbar, heads the opposite direction. About 10 minutes later, Akira and Nao passed north->south, Akira carrying a small box. Finally, in another 5 minutes, Judy, carrying her golf club, passes east->north."

A4: "We remain in the Courtyard still talking talking to the Rosenthals. After a couple minutes Amaya passed south->east, and Tyler does the same once he finishes. Just after they finish, Nao passes south>north. After a few more minutes, Cedric (wearing Ned) passes north->east."

A5: "We and the Rosenthals agreed to head to the Gym. When we got there, Ayano and I head into the storage room for just a minute. I brought out a rope and get it attached to the ceiling hook, started to teaching Ayano how to climb it. Meanwhile, the Rosenthals start doing warm-up stretches. After a few minutes, Akira passes through, and heads into the Storage Room."

A6: "Kyle heads into the Storage Room, as Akira leaves it, and then leaves the Gym. Karen heads to the rock wall, and I stared leading Ayano through some exercises. About 10 minutes later, Kyle returns, with a bike. He starts doing laps in the Gym. This was also when the Rosenthals told us about their plan to dispose the pistol they found in the trash room. I tried to warn them that a murder might probably happen in the new area but they insisted on going through with their plan regardless."

A7: "The 4 us leave the Gym. When we walked by the dorms in South Quadrant, the Rosenthals stop at their room, going inside. At the same time, Judy, Kyoko, and Mr. Watoshi come out from the Cafe, Watoshi carrying alcohol as usual. The 5 of of us went out to the now-dark Courtyard. Kyoko and Watoshi head north; Judy reminds everyone that Night Time will be starting soon; and Ayano and I headed east and then make it to our dorm."

A8: "Ayano tells me she wants collect some books from the Library, so I quickly accompanied her there. Inside, Ayano sticks to the east side; away from the secret door. The two of us gathered books for about 15 minutes, before heading back to our dorm where we started reading."

A9-A10: "Spent the rest of the night in our dorm until the body discovery announcement."

Dio folded his arms, titled his head to the side causing his stupid had to nearly fall off.

” Don’t give me that bullshit. The best self- defense, is knowing no one will Kuma! with you. Everyone saw me break that glass cabinet the first night here, and everyone saw me take that shard of glass. If I get attacked I’m armed, but if I decide to go on the offensive, you bet your ass I’m gonna use something no one knows I have. Getting away with murder is the whole fuckin point after all. If you really wanted protection you’d tell everyone ‘Hey, I’ve got poison flowers! Back the Kuma! off!’ but you didn’t, did you?
No. We found this vial thrown in the trash like it never existed, because you didn’t wanted to use it get away with murder?”

He rolled his shoulder and straightened up. 

“Well?”

"On Kyle's body was a magnet!? This is good for our theory that he killed Classic Battler, but if he did, why risk his sister's life? The two of them argued sure, but I doubt one would try to kill without the other to back them up. If he had successfully gotten away with it, his sister could've been executed right in front of him! It seems...illogical."

Amaya laughs at the way it's being tunneled onto her due to being a bad streak.

"I should have picked some marigolds...could have provided me...with some luck..."


She sighs


"Alright, if you all wanna Kumaing! point fingers at me, I'll tell you that the Kumaing! killer(s) will get away..but alas, everyone is blinded by what they can put their heads together...instead of outside the box. So listen up, all you sick Kuma!!"


Amaya then begin speaking


"I begin my  17:00 at the Courtyard, along with Todd , Seven and Judy. Todd and Judy was thinking of splitting up and think about. Judy mentioned about heading to the Casino. We all split, Judy and Todd head East, I head North, Seven seemed to stay at the Fountain, I passed by Mr.Watoshi and his new addition, Kyoko at the dorm hallway, she was trailing behind him. I then, enter the Warehouse, Nao is already there. I asked about the Nightshade, he deny saying it was uncommon..but I proved it was the opposite. I spoke with Nao with the remaining half-hour while she received the cardboard box."

"About 17:30, I waited for my item and then Nao said she would want to go to her Dorm, so I followed her. Just before we got inside, Dio, made a snide comment, which I ignored. Nao's room was dark, but it was just as it is.  Then we head back to the Warehouse. We saw Dio inside, he took pen and paper and left. Few moments, the Twins; Kyle and Karen entered, we talk to them and this lasted to the end of the half-hour. Then Miles and Akira came in."

"I excused myself from the Warehouse gang at 18:00, I headed to the Courtyard where Ayano and Suzume was loitering  to the Kitchen to make some food. Once inside, I saw Tyler loitering. He just...stares at me wild I was making a sandwich! What kind of sick Kuma! does that? It was creepy! I quickly finished making it and eat it in the cafe and then noticed Nao heading with Akira possibly to Akira's Dorm."

"Now here's the best part, so listen up you Kumaers! I reached my Dorm Room which is about 18:30 and it was LOCKED! I tried opening it but couldn't. I had a sick feeling in my stomach but I decided to leave it be. I saw Tyler enter the building while I walked towards the Trolleyway, where I saw Todd. He was there with a pen and paper and that Duobook. He warns me to watch my step and we spoke for a few minutes. Cedric came in wearing Ned the same time as the trolley car. We both entered on the trolley labeled #1. The car begins moving at 18:41, which stops halfway between the entrance and shower then stops, the metal walls at the front and back leaving the sides exposed, cant see through the sides without peeking out. It remains until 18:48, when the walls come down, and the car finishes moving to the Shower Room, docking at 18:49. Cedric and Ned was hunched by the corner disembark at the Shower Room and I continue to the Trash Room. On the way, I took out my Duobook and take note of Kyle and Suzume's location was at the Courtyard. I reached the Trash Room at 18:59."

"At the Trash Room, I tried the Pepper Spray at the garbage bag and it seems potent ad tried the Nightshade to make sure it was real but I kinda spilled it, feeling frustrated, I boarded the Trolley at 19:10. I reached the Casino at 19:19, the Pool at 19:29. Checking my map while the trolley moves, I noticed Suzume and Kyle was in the South Quadrant."

"I had to wait another 10 minutes to reach the Entrance, so about 19:39, while checking again my Duobook, Suzume and Kyle was still at the South Quadrant. Getting off the platform, Todd was still sitting there with a pen and notebook. I headed back to my dorm and tried to open the door, which was still locked. I tried again because I know something must have really happened. Tyler then appeared and I explained to him. We both tried until Duokuma came and said that, if we break it, he will execute us. Pissed off, I headed back to the Trolleyway which Tyler headed with me too. It was just in time for car #3 where Cedric disembark and questioned us if we saw Ned, with a negative reply from us, he left and Tyler and I boarded. It arrived at the Shower Room at 20:00 and Tyler disembark from it to the Shower Room."

"I then had to take about half an hour to get to the Pool Room so, Duobook was my friend. Suzume and Kyle was at the South about 20:03,Suzume then headed east as does Kyle  at 20:10 and enter the trolleyway at 20:15. Soon I've arrived at the Pool where everything seemed normal and before the Night Time Announcement."

"I then entered the Sauna Room, because thinking there could be a secret passage which could lead to my room. So I pressed the button in Connector A, nothing happened. Then I tried to press Connector B and I can't open the door that was the Locker Room. I tried to go through the Sauna's that one doesnt budge either I then press Connector A and found that it unlocks the door. Other than that, nothing was standing out."

"Now...after that, seeing no way to get to my room, I rushed out quickly so I won't miss the next trolley; running into Karen asking if I saw Kyle, I told her no and jumped into the #4 trolley and waited to be deposited at the Entrance, however, something must have gone wrong that as it past the Entrance and stopped between the Shower and Entrance. That was unfortunate as I have to wait for it to circle around again and finally reached the Entrance, Todd was there standing watch and I left to the East; my room."

"Hope y'all enjoy my Kumaing! bedtime story!"

She turns to Dio

"Well...little Kuma, I'm not like you, you're a wrecking ball of a person...but...if it was empty why would I want to tell people? Moreover, maybe your little brain can't think? Who would want the world to know you have self-defense equipment? This would leave them to thinking of other ways to take you out...I hope Druandia set forth your comeuppance..."

Karen's gaze turns to Cedric. "You claim that he was missing for most of the night, but is that true? You, as the puppet's master, would have known how to kill him, yes? So you could have killed him earlier in the night and carried him around with you in your cloak, all the while making a ruckus that he was missing. Then you tossed him in the trolleyway water later on."

Cedric shakes his head. "But when? Of course I could've carried him in my cloak, but any number of people could have concealed him beneath their clothing! Wouldn't my cloak bear a large wet spot if I had drowned him and then carried him there? The only ways I know he could have been killed are being crushed or short-circuited. And I had no other methods to short circuit him besides drowning. And I would never betray my Master like that."

“ Don’t forget, those hidden tunnels still exist. You could have gone through the library, grabbed another cloak and returned, all without crossing the courtyard.”

Edgeworth sighs.

"This is getting tiresome. I agree with Cedric on this one, he had ample opportunity to deposit Ned's body anywhere else on the Trolleyway, why would he put Ned's body in the Pool Room then hang around there? It is frankly too suspicious."
