After your day of watching movies and petting cats and exploring, all the guests of the Rhine Manor had a restful sleep that night (some more restful than others). It was a pleasantly uneventful night. In the morning, after a delicious pancake breakfast prepared by Daisy and Skelly, Stanley breaks the happy mood and decides to launch an investigation into the missing gun. Everyone splits up to search.
Luigi and Bellamy scour the grounds outside, checking the graveyard, the front yard, the backyard, the fountain, and the tree with no success. Tomiko and J@N3 investigate the kitchen. The results are negative. Battler investigates the greenhouse, and Vee investigates Battler. Neither of them find anything interesting. Stanley goes with Rei to look in the top floor medical ward, but there are no guns there. Mao and Mizuki tell everyone that they're going to investigate the master bedroom. They unsurprisingly come back with nothing. Daisy goes with Yuriko, and together they check the private study. Yuriko finds a Remington Model 700 Bolt-Action Rifle stashed up the chimney! She and Daisy take their findings to the dining room where everyone gathers to decide what to do now. As the group meeting goes on, Stanley slips away for five minutes through the greenhouse towards the backyard, and his hands seem dirtier when he returns.
In the end, Bellamy proposes that they set a watch schedule on the rifle to ensure no one decides to use it. He cuts up an old cereal box and writes on it a list of people and times they are supposed to keep watch on the gun. Everyone signs their name, and a contract is born! Luigi proudly tapes his son's schedule to the fridge, and gives him a big hug.
After a day of investigation and deliberation, everyone is feeling quite tired. Skelly tucks them into their sleeping bags and reads them Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. And when everyone wakes up in the morning… no one else is dead. The gun is still on the dining room table. The guests are beginning to feel pretty okay! They've almost forgotten about their ghost-hunting objective, since the ghosts have been awfully quiet lately. Daisy and Luigi announce that they'll throw a dinner party this evening to celebrate the peace!
They all spend the day preparing for the party. Herbs, fruits, and vegetables are all harvested from the greenhouse. The pantry is raided. The meagre offerings of the fridge are salvaged. Vee tries to contribute by offering a small koi she caught in the fountain. It squirms out of her hands and flops on the kitchen floor. Yuriko and Tomiko scream and hold each other. Mizuki faints, but fortunately Mao and J@N3 are there to catch her. Battler also faints, but everyone just lets him fall on the floor. A big orange cat saves the day by putting the poor fish out of its misery before running off to eat it elsewhere. The guests all have a good laugh!
This mood continues throughout the party. Daisy and Luigi are dashing between the dining room and kitchen all night. Bellamy finds a bottle of tequila in the master bedroom and brings it downstairs to the delight of the other party guests. Despite Skelly's protests, some guests get a bit hammered, and keeping track of everyone gets difficult. Mizuki and Mao leave early to go to sleep, and Tomiko paints crude designs on their faces. Bellamy demonstrates the best ways to cut cake. Rei drunkenly sings Rick Astley songs to Georgie while Battler makes occasional attempts to flirt with Yuriko, who leaves, disgusted. She makes the suggestion to go out and splash in the fountain, and Stanley, J@N3, Vee, and Bellamy all join her. The party rages into the night…
People wake up in the morning with varying amounts of hangover. Skelly mans the medical ward, where Vee and Ball are both staying as they recuperate from a drunken brawl between the two of them in the fountain. Right as the group migrates towards the dining room to find breakfast, Stanley remarks that they don't seem to have much food left. All the ripe fresh food from the greenhouse is gone, and little more remains in the kitchen that isn't cat food. Everyone feels slightly dismayed at this. They storm up to the medical ward and demand Skelly bring them more food. The skeleton shakes his head. "I'm sorry. I wish I could open the gate and buy some more food, but I simply can't go beyond the perimeter. I'm as trapped here as you… Not that I mind that, of course!" People head back downstairs feeling no better than when they'd come up. Everyone splits up to do their own thing. The morning drifts into afternoon. As the sun begins to set, Rei and Battler burst through the front door proclaiming that they have big news. All the temporary residents besides Vee and Ball head out the greenhouse door to the graveyard, where Rei and Battler found what appears to be all the leftover food from last night! It is spread across Marrion's grave, covered in dirt and grime.
"Who did this?!" demands Daisy, eyes filling up with tears at the thought of all the food she prepared being wasted like this. No one utters a response.

Well, well, well! Isn’t this an interesting development? I think there’s not nearly enough animosity here. To help with that, it's time you all played a game. I'm not normally the betting sort, but when a guest makes an interesting wager, an interesting host feels the need to comply. Don't disappoint me, now.
The game is called Manhunt. The rules are as follows:
The game is called Manhunt. The rules are as follows:
There shall be two teams of six, Team A and Team B.
Each team will have a designated Jail.
Three members of each team will be designated hiders, the rest can either guard the jail or seek.
If a hider is tagged by an enemy seeker, they must go to the other team's jail immediately.
If all three of a team's hiders are put in jail, that team loses; if the time runs out first, the team with more jailed members loses.
Active hiders may tag jailed team members to free them.
But what of that wager I mentioned? Well, it's a prize and a punishment. The prize for the winning team is abundant food! The punishment for the losing team... is a surprise.

"I have-a to let-a Ball know!" Luigi gulps. He turns to leave—
Not so fast, I'm not done. Ahem. Lastly, the teams.
Each team will have a leader, whose duty it is to designate their team's hiders and seekers. The leaders and members were chosen randomly, and are as follows:
Team A, led by Stanley:
Luigi, Daisy, Yuriko, Mizuki, Mao
Team A's jail is the Graveyard. All members of Team A will begin the night there.
Team B, led by Bellamy:
Tomiko, J@N3, Rei, Battler, Vee
Team B's jail is the Infirmary. All members of Team B will begin the night there.
Bellamy and Vee are awoken in the infirmary and informed of the game, much to their surprise and confusion.
Without further ado...
Let the manhunt begin.
This is a lot to take in, I know. Deep breaths, it'll be okay.
Until Action 1 is resolved, feel free to use this thread to designate your team's hiders and seekers. Good luck!
