Jabberwock Island. A silly place, but a silly place consisting of an island paradise. Everyone is awakened in their rooms to a familiar tone.
Ding Dong Bing Bong!
"Ah, Jabbawok Island's Head Staff has an announcement to make!"
"Starting today, I've introduced a new Security System to the island!"
"In order to open a door that leads into or out of a building, you must scan your hand, or hoof, for our... pony... friends..."
"Wait, why are there ponies here? That's very silly! I'll eat you silly things for breakfast! GRWAAAHHHHH!"
"Ok, ok, anyway! Once you scan on the scanner next to the door, it only stays open for 9 seconds before it closes itself!"
"Also, to make things fun, once you use a scanner, someone else has to use it before you can use it again! That should spice things up! I can't even begin to imagine how you guys can use that one!"
"Alright, I'll see you all soon! Very, very soon!"
Well, soon seems to come faster than you thought. In fact, everyone's day blurs by so fast, no one can seem to remember anything by the time they're greeted by the sight of Xylah Zenitani's crisped body suspended by wires in the Office of the Abandoned Building. It smells cooked.
"Wow, that was faster than even I thought! Looks like someone electrocuted your friend here! That sounds like a fun case!"
"Well, you all better get to it! There's a mystery to solve! Solving, ho!"

For those not familiar with the Abandoned Building, there are 5 rooms; the office, the (unisex) bathroom, the dining hall, the kitchen, and the storage room.
