[Tetsu]

Mes eyes Sweet's movement and listen to what was spoken.

"Very well...I can confirm what Sweet said was true." Mes pauses and then continued

"Ruka's body was cut into pieces, but rather it seemed like it was... torned . It was dismembered...smashed..so that's her cause of death. No foreign substance was found on her that could have attributed to her demised. Aside from that, I did more digging that little ol' sweetness over there and here's what I found." Mes pauses again to gathered her thought.

"The wounds from her dismembered body parts seems to closely resembles that of a dull paired of scissors and that it caused a jagged-like wound which is clearly from a utensil. This in conclusion could be the knife or a jagged dulled blade . Thus leaving a super unclean wound." 

"Aside from that, I checked her expression it seems dull or she wasn't expected to be knocked out by the brute there. However, it seems she has been dead for awhile now.." Mes then move her hair to cover her face where the part was burned and continued. 

"Her body parts were laid on top of Maiyun's. While I tried to look around and noticed there was blood splatters but there was nothing substantial and there weren't any drag marks around the body but, I was hoping Shizue/Ktoasty, if you could elaborate to see if there was any drag marks or blood splatter."


"My other place of investigation was the Twinkle Town ."

She stopped to catch her breathe and continued.

"This place has almost two-third of its flower bed destroyed. I found a black wilted stem which was what remained of the flower..so it could be important..I tried to see if I could identify any footprint though...I failed due to the destruction of the flower bed." Mes sighs and then places both her hands on her hips.

"I...don't think I have enough to come up with a theory at the moment...other than Maiyun and Ruka both died before action 4 . I'm pretty confident in that..assumption and that there could be a present of an accomplice . However, Maria/Spell Craft, did you investigate the temple? If yes, would you please give us a detail of it please?" Mes then gave Maria a small smile

[Ktoasty]

Shizue nods. "So we can't get help from Toyomi for now. Well, Mes, I already mentioned that Ruka and Maiyun's bodies were definitely thrown into the Sage's Quarters. No drag marks whatsoever.

Something isn't adding up between everyone's accounts for last night though. This might be a bold thing to say, but I think between Sour, Chuya, and Maria, someone is suspect."

The Puzzle:

"I'll take note of the three things that don't add up. 1: Chuya and Meiga found Ruka and Maiyun's remains in the Sage's Quarters at Action 4. 2: Sour knocked out Ruka in the Sage's Quarters at Action 2. 3: Maria found blood flooding the Temples at Action 5, saying someone died there.

Ruka is the central point for why these statements can't make sense together. Between Ruka and Maiyun, Ruka's cut up body is the only one that could cause that mess of blood Maria found at the Temples. However, with Sour and Chuya's testimonies, the only time Ruka could be killed there is at Action 3. To be killed and brought back to the Sage's Quarters within the span of one action is unreasonable though, and that's why I think one of these 3 people are lying."

"If Chuya and Maria are telling the truth, then Sour is lying. In this scenario, I'd think Sour was not in the Sage's Quarters when he found Ruka, and maybe at the Temples as Maria discovered. Ruka, and possibly Maiyun too, were killed there and thrown into the Sage's Quarters at Action 3."

Chuya?:

"If Sour and Maria are telling the truth, then Chuya is lying. This would mean she didn't find Ruka and Maiyun's bodies in the Sage's Quarters at Action 4, instead killing at the Temples in Action 4 and throwing them into the Sage's Quarters at Action 5. This would also require Ruka to wake up and go to the Temples herself at Action 4 though."

Maria?:

"If Sour and Chuya are telling the truth, then Maria is lying. Ruka would have never been brought to the Temples, nor killed there, and instead killed in the Sage's Quarters at Action 3. There would be no bloody mess at the Temples either."

"The other strange thing is each of these three was in a pair at night, so it would involve an accomplice. Sour with Sweet, Chuya with Meiga, or Maria with Keiko."

"That's what I've arrived at from the testimonies we have. But there are still more that haven't spoken about their nights yet. We have yet to find any trace of Hibiki, and there's the mystery of the maggots too. Those are some things we can talk through while figuring out the murders."

[Spell Craft]

Toyomi scoffs, "You're talking like I'm not right here, idiot."
She's really steaming, after Shizue put the murder of the King onto her.
Like a deep hatred forming.

Maria look down, having been accused herself.
She finally breaks her silent once more.

"I don't know for sure what to make of my investigations."

[Middle Class] "There was nothing here... A place untouched..."

[Temples] "It was nearly exactly how I saw it the first time. I...I don't want to repeat myself. But if--"


[A1] "I went to the Temples." Toyomi interjects.
"Yeah, I was there at the beginning of the night."



"What are you gonna do, blame me again for these murders too? Pathetic..."
"There was nothing there, no one. No Ruka, no Maiyun, nobody. I was alone at the Temples."
Toyomi glares at Shizue, obviously fuming.


"Toyomi, that's enough." Keiko steps in to help.
"Tell us the rest of your night, or just shut up. You aren't helping."
Keiko seems to be getting anxious herself.

Toyomi huffs. "Then I guess you want me to tell them what happened to Hibiki, huh?"

Keiko's face contorts to puzzlement.
". . ."

[Spell Craft]

"I wasn't done..." Maria continues.



[Temples part 2]  "There were somethings I didn't notice the first time. Drag marks of blood outside of the city, but also horse hooves. I think, whatever happened, it involved a horse and some sort of dragging. I don't know whether it was Maiyun or Ruka, and I don't know when, but I could tell the blood was pretty fresh from when I first saw it. Does anyone have an idea about what could have happened, and if it matches up with the bodies investigated?"

[Tetsu]

Mes after listening to Maria's investigation and Shizue's puzzle spoke.

"Now...first let's talk about the Temples . The hooves that Maria saw could probably either mean Maiyun was dragged from the temples to the Sage Quarter at Action 3 or there's another explanation which is like what Shizue has mentioned that it could've been Ruka ."

"However, I guess it's a good time to tell you all something that was in the Apprentice Academy. During my early night when I was there before Lava Girl and Shark girl destroyed the scene was.. I noticed blood there while asking around I was told that there was an earthquake and then first thing they saw was blood before I could get more...information...I had to confront those two..."

Mes then looks at Keiko

"You...seemed anxious Keiko...maybe you have a reason to tell us not to executed anyone cause you could have played a part in this..?'' 

[Ktoasty]

Shizue does an apologetic bow to Toyomi, then turns to Mes. "What are you hinting at with the Apprentice Academy? It sounds like you held that information back in your alibi to strike something big right now."

Mes looks at Shizue while twirling her hair with her finger.

“Well for one...I’ve held it back to see if our culprit or someone else would have accidentally come forth with any information or if they were there during action one, unfortunately not.”

Mes then gave Shizue a smile.
“What I am trying to say is that..maybe...who ever summoned that earthquake was the one that finished off Ruka or something else..I can be too sure with Chuya and Meiga washing off the evidence.”

Saaki looks at Mes, "The only thing that doesn't make sense is that Sour knocking Ruka down in the sage quarter's, for her to wake up and leave and then get thrown there again? Or maybe the killer chopped her up and then thrown her in from the door to make it seem like both deaths didn't happen there."

[Tetsu]

Mes nods at Saaki's opinion.

"Yes..that is...true, this case is really perplexing...but who would have time to take out two of our people in a span of 3 actions?"

Mes then shakes her head a little and then look at Toyomi/Spell Craft.

"Toyomi, I know we have wronged you the previous night. However, we would really liked your assistance in this one. I know we all don't belong here, yet we must all work together to achieve the same goal; going home...to be with our loved ones..." Mes then looks down at both her hands.

"I do miss home, I feel it deep in my heart all of us, but as far as we are concerned now..we have to follow the path of light..because we are each other's light for now. If you have any information about anything, be it seeing Hibiki, or any evidence or even the places you've been would really really help us..." 

Mes looks at Toyomi and then at Keiko/Spell Craft

"Is there a reason, why we shouldn't punish this killer, Keiko? Is it because...you know them too well or we don't have enough people to continue on for answers...?" Mes asked innocently

[Spell Craft]

"Yeah Keiko, why don't you--"

Keiko drops to her knees.

"I did it..."

Keiko looks down.

"I'm the one who did this."

"oh please," Toyomi mumbles.

". . ."

Maria looks shocked.

"I told Hibiki, just after the last trial, to watch over the Temples. I told him that I felt uneasy about it, like there's something about the Temples there that doesn't sit right with me... But he said no."

"Hibiki wanted to go play adventurer and check out the new town with everyone, he didn't care about how I felt or the curse we're under. He turned around and was going to leave me while he lollygagged in Tricera..."

"...so I seduced him. I used my black magic to seduce Hibiki and force him to listen to me. And so, he spent the entire night at the Temples, just like I had asked. Just like what was supposed to happened..."

Keiko's eyes brim over with tears.

"I got him killed. That blood at the Temples belongs to Hibiki..."

"It's all my fault...."

Keiko sobs for the rest of the time, unable to manage any other words than, "my fault".

[Ktoasty]

Shizue nods. "I'm still not seeing how Keiko knows the blood at the Temples is Hibiki's. She never went there all night, so she can't know what happened to him. The only thing that's really making me doubt her claims is Maria's alibi though. She said she was alone, nobody, or no body, in sight."

Then he turns to Toyomi. "Toyomi, sorry that what I've done has hurt your feelings. Like Mes said though, we do need your help, especially as the only one out of us all who's been to the Temples at the beginning of the night. Can you tell about what you witnessed during your night, please?"


Spell Craft

Mes looks at Keiko/Spell Craft

"Yes you may have sent Hibiki to the temples, Keiko...but you did not kill em..you know why?" Mes then stares at her with fire in her eyes.

"Because, in the files that we have...Hibiki is missing not dead! For now..we should think about the death of the other two...I believe that even if you sent Hibiki to the temple...you are not held accounted for what happens because we can't know what will have gone down. Maybe he was captured by something else while putting up a fight? We may not know...besides the hoofprints..."

[Spell Craft]

Toyomi huffs.

"I, frankly, don't owe you anything."

Toyomi turns away from Shizue.
"Whatever."
"I saw Keiko seduce Hibiki. I'm the once who forced him to stay away from the Temples, just to see if it would work. And, as I left the Temples, thinking my plan worked, I saw Hibiki [A2] at the Temples while I left the city."

"I hope it helps, but frankly... I'd love for you folks to make sense of Maiyun or Ruka in Velocidon City at any point, just to end up at Tricera again. Frankly speaking, Keiko may not have killed Hibiki, but the blood is surely his. She lured him to his death, unknowingly."


Keiko sinks farther into her knees, sobbing.

"Don't believe me? There's 1 place out there between Velocidon and Tricera. Go check there after this silly trial, and see if you find him."

"That's all you need from me."

"I have a speculation but... I pray it isn't the case." Keiko hold herself, toppled on the floors.

"Hibiki might have been ....quartered."

Saaki is dumbfounded by the way this case is going. "So you're telling me not only do we have two murder cases we haven't solved, we have a third murder as well?"
