I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant.
It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.
"You've all come to a conclusion? Let's see..."
Racheal's Umbreon (suicide) is . . .
{Spoiler}
"Hmm... I think we might have gotten this a bit wrong. Perhaps we were still missing some clues or evidence to get it exactly correct."
"Well, I'll do my best to explain this to the townspeople. Wish me luck!"
Several minutes pass by while you all wait for the professor in her lab. Finally, she comes back from outside.
"Uhmm... Good New and Bad News."
"Bad News: They were very angry. Like, furious even. They demanded that two more people from this group should be forced to leave town.
Good News: I got some cookies for everyone! Please enjoy while we decide on who will be exiled."
Simultaneously, Mindy Dragonsteel and Inari Satomaki step forward. With grim looks on their faces, they both volunteer for this task.
"How generous of you two! Welp, off you go. Good luck on your uh... travels."
They checked everywhere, and found nothing really new that wasn't said in the trials. They did find, however, splinters of wood in/around the neck, presumably from the tree stump it leans against. Following the blood trail, they also found a separate drag trail, leading away from where the head was found. They decided to follow the second trail, which lead straight to Chest 2.
They saw blood all over and bits of wood missing from Chest 2. 'This must have been where the victim was originally murdered', they thought. That would explain the wood inside/around the neck around, and the drag lines leading here. Upon further inspection, they could see that is was the Chest 2 lid that was used to brake the neck bones into fragments, making the head easier to chop off with the knife.
As they move in towards the chest, it begins to glow. It transforms into a monster; a mimic chest
and proceeds to chomp on all life forms around it, Trainers and Pokemon alike. Odd, one would think, until the chest itself transforms back into it's shadowy original form.
and flies away into the darkness of the forest.
Innocent.

The Execution
What remains of Racheal's Umbreon is gathered up by the townsfolk. "Time to finish the job on this devil," they say. Without realizing that the trainers were wrong, they take off. Using the remaining bear traps from behind the Abandoned Hut, they drop the remains of the Umbreon. In a brilliantly bloody display, the traps go off one by one, chomping a bit of the remains a piece at a time and sending the rest flying into the next trap. After every single trap is set off, what remains of the Umbreon remains is a pool of blood and a pile of minch meat. As the townspeople head back to town, it can be seen that some wild Pokemon of the forest come to feed.."Well, I'll do my best to explain this to the townspeople. Wish me luck!"

Mindy Dragonsteel and Inari Satomaki
The two set off, hand in hand, with their partners. Banished from the town, they walk into the forest. Daily 2 will be posted right away, once I choose a map and type it up.
Feel free to ask questions about how the murder happened, but I will not reveal the identity of Team Despair.
They can choose to reveal themselves, or not.
In addition, Team Despair has chosen to remain in the game. This grants them invincibility from death, a reward for winning.
