Despite hearing it straight from Godhood Himself, Maui can't help but check anyway. He raises his hook above his head, as he always does, and says his classic catchphrase:

"Cheehoo!"


Unsurprisingly, nothing happens. Though a little more than frustrated, he shrugs it off.

"No big deal. I'm still Maui: demigod of the wind and sea, hero of men and women! Come on, Shulk, we can fight without all the fancy stuff! IT'S MAUI TIME!"
