Another: Class of Two-Thousand and Tea
(Beware, semi-long read ahead)
(Beware, semi-long read ahead)
“Everybody knows about class 3-3 and what occurs each year within that cursed class, and each year the third years dread being placed within that class, and all for good measures! But… You probably don’t want to hear this from me, surely you already know by now! Besides, it’s too late to turn back, or pull out. Unfortunately, you lot have been chosen as next year's class 3-3, boo-hoo! So, I’ve got a lot to tell you, for your own safety it’d be best if you listen closely, after all, your lives are at stake!”
“Welcome to Another... Now that your survival expert ‘teacher’ got your attention, let me lay down the plot. Basically, you’ve been placed within class 3-3, which has been cursed ever since the 1970’s. Yadda-yadda… The curse is an unseen killing monster, which brutally kills off kids one after another, and the killing won’t stop unless the dead students from a previous curse are caught. Often the curse skips over years due to the class abiding by safety precautions which have been set in place by our officers. These precautions include labeling a false dead student and ignoring them for the whole year in place of the dead student, sorry whoever you are. “
“It’s a little stupid honestly, are you encouraging our students to ignore a fellow classmate? What a stupid rule, y’all suck! But, I mean if you wanna survive, better get used to ignoring them. Drink up (false ‘dead student’), you’ll need all the tea you can get!”
The Rules are as Followed:
1. Basically, the game starts where the assigned ‘dead person’ has been spoken to or accidentally acknowledged by a student. The false dead student will be allowed to be spoken to after the first before class stage, after the first killing, they get no special treatment, just a fun little role to have.
2. The random generator will chose two students to be the real dead students, taken by a prior curse. Each homeroom class the students must take a vote to who they think the dead classmates are, but they do not have to.
3. There will be a study period each ‘day’ where students can ask around or go to the library to find clues about who the dead students may be, but without clues from other students, it will not amount to much.
4. Each study period the ‘dead students’ can lay down a singular false clue or fake evidence for it to be somebody else.
5. If you successfully find a ‘dead student’ they will be killed off, you’ll then only have one more to deal with! Once you find them, the curse will successfully stop. Two people are killed each morning, and up to two can be killed during the homeroom.
6. You can choose to attend classes or not within the class stage. There are three different classes to choose from, and if you choose to attend the same class as the randomiser, then you’ll be given an extra study period credit.
7. The night stages are 12 hours, and are simply you submitting where you’ll be for 3 different actions of the night. (ie; one action attending cram school, one picking up siblings from elementary and one going back to your apartment). The dead students will do a similar thing, however will choose a target and an action, where they kill them will depend on the place the target has chosen to go. This can either be good or bad for the dead student. During night phase you will only see somebody if they have specified they’re looking for somebody or just going there to look around, if their focus is on other things then they will not spot you, thus why the rumours and gossip are important. You will not find any clues for the night stage.
8. Your interaction with NPC’s may determine if you get a clue or not, there are NPC students who if they catch you being rude to another student may withhold information or run away in fear of you being a bully, however other students may give you information if you threaten them. Teachers are similar in that manner.
Day Stages:
1. Before Classes: Thread based.
Basic roleplay between students. Where you choose to attend a certain class or ditch. You may also mourn deceased students.
2. Classes Stage: PM based.
You may roleplay in the thread the happenings of your class, be sure to use spoilers thought with the title of your specific class.
~
If you choose to skip you can choose one room within the school to visit/investigate, or you could choose to study yearbooks from previous years. Both of these have a 1/10 chance of providing evidence however.
If you choose to attend class, you will choose between three which are announced in the before class stage. One of these three will be a lucky class, where you’ll be given an extra study period credit.
3. Study Stage: PM based.
Here you can choose where you’ll investigate. Each study stage you can visit two places within school grounds, if you got an extra study credit you can visit three places. Each day there will be clues randomly placed within rooms, and sometimes the teachers may give a hint. However, during this stage the ‘dead students’ each have a credit to plant fake evidence or spread a rumour to a teacher, so you better examine your evidence carefully. If they (the dead students) get the lucky class, they will have two credits to plant fake evidence.
4. Homeroom Stage: Thread based. Similar to a trial.
Here is where you discuss your evidence and choose who you think the ‘dead students’ are. Most students can vote once, however if you were in the chosen ‘lucky class’ you may vote twice. The two students with the most votes will then be taken by the three safety officers and killed off. If you have gotten a ‘dead student’, the killing will either stop or only happen to one student per day, yay! You’ll also find that their yearbook picture from the year they died will be displayed on their desk. If you haven’t gotten a dead student, you dun goofed. The whole class can decide not to vote or to only vote a singular student if they wish so not many people die, but, when there’s two ‘dead students’ out killing the class, it’s kinda silly, y’know?
5. Night Stage: PM based
In this stage you will choose three places to go and specify what you will be doing each stage, you submit all three actions in a singular PM, choosing a place off the map to go. In the rules an example has already been given. This stage is where the two murders will take place. You will find no clues this stage, however the people you may come across may specify you an alibi and help testify if somebodies rumour is false, you can only see somebody if you’ve specified to investigate or look at an area and no nothing particular, and you can only do this once a night.
5. Special Stage: Put up for vote during Night Stage of Day 3
If chosen: Shorter Thread / PM Based: Fourth Day Special
If there’s a fourth day, the class will be taken on a school trip to where they’ll spend their day. There they’ll be able to roleplay to all their might. You’ll find people on this school trip who have information about the curse, and will have 3-4 credits to spend depending on your actions on the previous days. If there is one remaining dead student, they may activate the curse fully and kill a second student on the second credit. If there’s two then it doesn’t matter and this is just a fun character developing thing where you can find information… But there may be some false rumours being told!
Safety Officer Clause:
Each night, the three assigned safety officers (chosen by the students via vote during the preperation phase) will chose a student to protect using a charm the teacher taught them. If their student is attacked, they will be sent to the hospital unable to do anything for the day rather than die, and will be brought back for the next round. That student will get a clue on who the ‘dead students’ may be. The safety officers get a special investigation phase during the study period where they can investigate a student, if they’re a ‘dead student’ an extra clue will be added for the rest of the study period, and if that student has spread a rumour, the rumour will not be said anymore. Application:
Image: Just a picture, preferably a cartoon styled one with their face visible.Name: Last name, First name order please, unless they’re foreigners (if they are please specify)
Gender: Boy, Girl, Non-Binary?
Hobbies: Two hobbies, can be anything. Will help come up with a death ~
Traits: Two positive (ex; friendly, kind, gentle) Two Negative (ex; clumsy, hot-headed, obsessive)
Rumour: C’mon, there’s gotta be a saucy rumour going around about your precious bean! What is it? It can be anything, if you need help figuring out one feel free to message me. This’ll have importance later on.
Quote: “Blah blah speech/personality example, sum them up…” (ie “bitch imma smash” or “i hate all humans” or “hi i’m becky, and i don’t want a stick”.)
“Even though I just said that, you went and talked to our assigned dead student any way! Dishonour on you, dishonour on your cow- Huh? Who am I you ask? Well, that’s easy! I’m 3-3’s survival teacher, Hontōni Chīsai (Overlord. Chīsai if you will),
I survived the curse two years ago… All by drinking tea! Something you guys better do this year! You guys are super cute, so please don’t disappoint me!”
“Oh yeah… Almost forgot to introduce the butt who’ll be teaching your actual class- or whatever. he’s a scrub, feel free to bully him or drown him in tea, I won’t mind!”
“Ignore her… I’m your actual teacher, and she’s just some dumb chick who has an obsession with tea. I’m 3-3’s actual teacher, Mr. Fufukawa . And please, for the love of god do not call Ms. Tiny Dwarf over there an overlord, god only knows what’ll happen if you feed her ego any more-”

“Gross- they’re flirting!”
“Ew!”
Sign Up Stage - One Week
Preparation Stage - 48 Hours
In this stage, you vote for your safety officers and introduce yourself and your characters, the false dead student (who does nothing more than hold this title) and the two real dead students are chosen and kill during this time. Good time for roleplay before disaster strikes. This stage only runs once, then the day stage cycles, simple!
Day Stage - 24 Hours Each Part
Each day will be an estimated 96 hours (unless it’s a fourth day special)- this game is long running, so be prepared to put the work in. The game will stop once the dead students have been killed off, or if there’s only three to four regular, non-dead students remaining. If you don’t have the time or have something big coming up in two → four weeks, then maybe it’s best to sit this one out- or you can just chuck your student into teacher day-care if it’s only a short event (ie. 24-48 hours worth of missing the game)
Night Stage - 24 Hours
Choose three places to go, go there and do something, maybe see some stuff, maybe get murdered? Do sum night stuff, I dunno, might help you have a clearer alibi in the next day???
Dead Student Clause
If a dead student has to drop out due to life circumstances they will be replaced by a randomly selected student. That student has 24 hours to accept or decline the role, if they don’t answer then they’ll be automatically declined and another dead student will be randomised. If you are chosen as a dead student by me for the first round and don’t wish to be the dead student, you have 12 hours to decline.
Clue Information
In this game, clues are everywhere if you know how to look, they may be hinted at or even outright told, there’s a special student in the school grounds, that if found can confirm if a specific rumour or clue you’ve found is a truth or a lie, however only if told a specific statement. Students around the school may gossip about seeing somebody somewhere the previous night, finding something by somebodies corpse or even about somebody acting sketchy, it’s the innocent students job to piece together the information they’re given. Clues can be found around the school such as missing shoes in the locker area, photos in the yearbook that look similar to students in your class, torn up items in a rubbish bin or peculiar notes. Please be aware all these things could be forged, which is why the student ‘who knows all’ may be a very important part to you winning a trial or losing it. Each student will overhear a piece of gossip that pertains to another student, and will hint to where that student was at the time. Quests are also a very important part to this game. During one of your actions if you choose to talk to a student they may give you a quest- if you successfully complete it you'll receive a big clue. There are some quests you have to find before doing others (for example there is quests such as matchmaking, finding items or spreading rumours)
About The Deaths
This version of another differs slightly to the anime and book, as to make the murders easier to solve. Each dead student must have had contact and been nearby when the death of a student happened.
~
If you have to take a vacation or a break due to family issues then please inform me, and your special wittle snowflake will be taken care of and immune for 24 hours and 24 hours only, unless specified otherwise (max 48 hours). The teachers can only take care of three students max. First in best dressed. It’s basically kiddy day care, run by your one and only tea overlord~!
