Alright. That was a bad Trial. When people are trying to meta-game their way to victory, no one wins. Please keep meta-gaming out of the Trials. Alucard's post about the rules question he asked me is fine; anything specific about the rules, or situation, is important information that everyone should know so the Blackened('s) don't get away based on rule uncertainty. For an example of what I don't want to see: my name (Codeskull, not Sho), anywhere in the Trial, unless specifically tied to a rule question. Debating about why I've given evidence, or if I've given red herrings, and/or why I've done either/both of these things, is not something I want to see discussed; rather, I'd like to see debate on the evidence you've all gathered, and whether or not it relates to the murder, or if it was a red herring the Blackened planted, or (and really, this is the big one) how the evidence can be tied to other evidence to paint a clear picture of how the Blackened committed the crime, and then debating over who the Blackened may be. Trials like that tend to be a lot more fun for everyone involved (especially if the Blackened is one of the key debaters - see Game 42 [RIP HITOMI]) Some things are going to be changing as a result of this trial.
First off, I will not be executing Tsurugi; 6 people are being removed due to being AFK or by request: Amai, Amelie, Allen, Ethan, Juliet, and Sissel. I don't think adding one of the key debaters to that list will make the Game very fun. This, unfortunately proves Tsurugi's status until the Blackened wins or changes, but I ask to do this in the name of fun.
Second, I will be re-balancing Trackers. Trackers are completely losing the ability to track most of 1 person's movements (tracking all of the victim's movements, however, is unchanged). In return, they will get slightly more information when tracking two people's movements. Let me make it clear that you should not read into this one way or another. I simply believe I made Trackers too much the main focus of the Trial, and want to allow other evidence the time to shine, too.
Third: Please, please, please ask more questions on Investigation Results, and in Trial. No one said anything either time Sho spoke up; you'll read about that a little further down. There was also some evidence missed this Trial due to the appropriate players not asking questions about it.
You zetta sons of digits didn't even try, did you? I guess I was a bad teacher. Everyone blindly accepted the information I told them, even after having doubts. Do you think we'd know that G=9.8 m/s/s if Newton hadn't questioned why apples fall? Sure, at a glance, it looks like things just fall, or that people burn to death, but really, it's something else entirely!
At least most of you at least tried. Some of you didn't. Goodbye, zeros.
Execution: Paradise
Amai, Amelie, Allen, Ethan, Juliet, and Sissel find themselves on the beach of what appears to be a tropical island. The air is warm, the birds are colorful and singing, the sound of the tide is ever present and relaxing, and the island smells of fruity goodness. Slightly confused, the group looks at each other, and decide to accept this for what it is and relax on the beach.
Then an enormous text book from the sky falls and crushes the island, making a deafening sound and killing everything on it.
Tsurugi, I saw your post as I was finishing this up. It's completely up to you, stay or go, but you're still alive until you're either murdered or killed for inactivity.
Yuuki and Theodore have dropped out of the Game. 23 people remain.
