Maes had gone back home to his lab. He had spoke to Ina before he had left, and even though Ina was going to burn all the books relating to the dark charms that Yandere Fauna used, without explaining how it was originally his story from Omegaa, she agreed to help him created a cure for the charming, in case a similar charm was used by someone else in the future, if other people already knew about them. Because of course usually more than one copy of a book was made. The week before he came back home he spent it in Fauna's Forest with Fauna and Ina. Maes went back to the Druid Tree, and the Old Tree, and also other areas of Fauna's Forest where they collected ingredients to help Maes produce this cure. Maes was given a small picnic basket to hold all the ingredients in and then he went home to Eorzea.
He was in his lab, mixing the flowers and mushrooms that they found together. It was turning a strange green colour. It still didn't seem quite right. As he was mixing in the ingredients he would write down notes in his notebook, detailing any changes to the potion, colour changes, smells, textures any bubbles popping etc. Next he added some berries that were found near the originally called Yandere Fauna's Hideout, but has now been turned into Campers Hideout after Yandere Fauna had re-joined with original Fauna. Fauna explained how they weren't poisonous to Maes whilst he was there, and proved this by eating one, and Maes had joined her. They were quite bitter tasting, but gave a rejuvenating feeling after eating. As Maes added them to the potion, the potion turned a bright red, and started to boil away. This was exciting changes, the smell started to feel more edible also. Maes added these to the notes in his notebook. Okay one final ingredient to try. A singular flower from Fauna's head. Ina and Fauna explained that these flowers had special properties, they actually grew in Fauna's hair, a mystical element granted to her being the aspect of nature, or Mother Nature. Maes added it to the potion, and a poof of air came out of the potion. When Maes now looked into the potion, it was a glittery pink colour, and it smelled sweet. Maes was very excited, if he was correct, and he might be correct, the potion could be complete. He added these final notes to his notebook so he remembers exactly all the amounts he added to the potion. Then he realises he needs to test it on someone. The charm was broken, but it would still have a healing affect he felt. Oh dear, Maes can not for the life of him remember his name. He flicked through his notebook, where on earth was it. *flick* *flick* *flick* Ah got it! He knew he would of wrote down the number. He then clambered through his lab to find his phone, ah there it is, he very slowly punched in the number in his notepad.
*beep* *beep* *click*
"Hello Lacey is the name,
I hope your call isn't lame!"
"Lacey it's Maes, I'm here to call through that favour you owe me."
"Oh well if it isn't Mr. Maes!
Of course I offer you a thousand okays!
It's the least I can do after everything,
With a short jump, swim and a handspring,
I'll be there!"
Brilliant Maes thought as he hung up the phone, we do love a willing participant. His smile deepens and a laugh comes deep out of his throat.
