{The Verdict}

{The Actual Murder}
"Good job! You figured it out!"
"I wasn't sure how you all did it though, kuma! There was a lot of useless bickering the whole time!"
"Let me clear a few things up. First, Battler went to Cedric's Dorm, and retrieved a cloak. He wore it underneath his own neatly tucked-in clothes."
"Then, he found the secret bookshelf; something he wasn't expecting!"
"Third, he went exploring in the tunnel underneath. He decided to turn back before entering to the second secret room, though!"
"Then he ran into Phoenix, who had also found the bookshelf and was descending the staircase to the tunnel. After convincing Phoenix that the tunnel was a dead end, they both went upstairs together!"
"When Battler got to the top, he pulled out his knife, grabbed Phoenix by the mouth from behind, and slit his throat! The blood ran straight down Phoenix's clothes."
"Trying to fight back, Phoenix started frantically trying to pull the hand away and push Battler away! In his struggles, Phoenix ripped off a part of the cloak. Once he accepted his fate, Phoenix was let free in a slump to the ground; his final act of free will was slipping the cloth in his shoe, as a dying message."
"Battler then switched the order of his clothes, putting the cloak on top. When he finished, he made his way out the empty Library; and this is when he ran by Judy."
"Battler ran straight to Phoenix's dorm, where he took the cloak off and placed it under his bed."
"Finally, Battler retreated back to his room, for the rest of the night."

Execution: A Detective's Eye
Battler is dragged from the room via neck-chain.
He is brought to a small, dark, wooden shack outside. It seals itself shut upon his entry, leaving no exits.
A giant magnifying glass on the outside is brought onto the scene. It magnifies the rays of the sun onto the shack, setting it on fire.
When the shed has become ash, the camera pans. But you see no bones.
The scene shifts, revealing that Battler somehow escaped from the locked room. Then Duokuma runs up to him from behind, stabs him, and then runs away.
