This most certainly means that whoever killed Ruruka, and most likely Chisa as well, woke up with Ruruka in the Kitchen. We should probably share where we all woke up; I woke up in the Male Restroom.

How so very trusting of the Ultimate Skeptic! I'd assume you would have wanted to actually see my NG before you decided to believe me!

To the best of my knowledge, my acting sentinel in the Second Hallway did not contribute in any way, shape, or form to either of their deaths, nor did I take any other form of action last night. Which means that I have information.

Kate saw Damien's death, causing her to shriek, she jumped and clutched her arm tight, startled and questioning why no one really noticed. She then turned to Code.

"Magicians never share their tricks... I never saw him leave the room, and I did do my sense and saw that there were two people in the auditorium... He was with me most of the night, I wouldn't count him as a suspect."

She then peeked up again

"I would also like to add that In the vent there were blood smears both outside and inside the vents."

Wait...did I go to the Storage Room before or after we discovered our friends were missing? I believe it was after, which I was unclear about and my apologies. But you do know it couldn't have been me right? I spent all of my time in the auditorium on stage, and I woke up in the hallway in the basement, definitely not the kitchen.

Anyway I'm afraid it's time for me to steal the show with my special ability...

As you all should know, I am a Magician of the highest caliber. Therefore I decided to use my magiciany skills to see how many people entered a room during the night. Specifically the Kitchen and Storage Room! Unsurprisingly, it seems that only 2 people "entered" the kitchen throughout the night, we can assume our killer and the victim at least. Perhaps less interesting is 5 people, myself not included entered the Storage Room that night. Quite a lot if I do say so myself!

"Alright hear me out everyone"

Kate took in all the information that she heard, and decided it was time to start fleshing it out.

"It appears that one of us murdered two of our fellow mates in cold blood. 
It is our job to try and find out who did this and put them to justice, in the name of hope!

The killer had to have woken up in the kitchen with Ruruka, no one was able to get in before hand since it was blocked, either Ruruka didn't pay any mind to the barricade, or The killer woke up before any of us did.
Any who, they barricade the door and use the rolling pin to murder her.

The second part of the night is when they... *sigh* created their lovley display, using the knife to cut open her stomach and cut out the eyes, filling them with candy... It was quite the gory sight. Afterwards they pulled over a chair to the vent, which was at the very top of the room, where they opened the vent, with no sign of tampering (no cuts or dents) and used the vent to crawl out.

The final hours of the night they crawled in the vents into the meeting room, bloody and Holding a knife for just such an occasion, poor Chisa witnessed the killer and either tried to run or fight back.
Either way, the killer got in front of Chisa and stabbed her in the chest, killing her."

She sweeps the hair out of her eyes.
"We need more alibis, and anyone who isn't secure is highly suspicious...
I think that our starting points might be connected to our ultimates... Me and Max are both performers and we both ended up in the stage and auditorium...
But so far, none of us have similar talents...

"Excuse me? The kitchen was barricaded from the outside, so that's entirely baseless. Since it was already blocked when Popuko and Darius woke up, the killer must have gotten up sooner than most of us, so we have no real way to confirm where the killer woke up. Not that it really matters, actually.

"As for us two, we woke up in the auditorium, you should've seen us. Neither of us are performers, so I'm not sure why we woke up there. We had the misfortune of chatting with Codeskull for a bit, then went to the storage room to find something to play with, which we did. As Keito said, we spotted him and Ban leaving the storage room. We hung out in hallway 1 for the rest of the night, and I don't think we saw anyone.

I've got a question regarding Chisa's death, though: what caused the chandelier to fall when Keita investigated it? That sounds like some sort of deliberate sabotage to me... do you think Chisa could have been setting some kind of trap, and happened to be unlucky enough to be caught in the path of the killer? I doubt the murderer would have bothered to set up something like that.

"Speaking of which, now that we have an idea of how our victims died, we should determine exactly what the murderer would've had to do tonight. There were a lot of steps involved, so I'll summarize as best I can: they would've had to 1) Barricade the entrance to the kitchen using the cabinet in the dining room (if I had to guess, the dining room is likely where they woke up), 2) Most likely use the air vents to enter the kitchen, 3) Kill Ruruka and barricade the door from the inside, 4) Use the air vents to travel from the kitchen to the meeting room, then finally, 5) Kill Chisa. With that in mind, I'm gonna do some alone thinking for a while, you guys do your thing."

"How would someone close off the door? Do we know for sure it wasn't already blocked off before hand?
I dont think they could've blocked it off from the outside unless they had another way in, but they wouldn't have enough time before someone saw!
And yes, it very much matters where they woke up!

It would explain how they got into the kitchen, or if they already were in already.
Do you think they would block off the kitchen and go through the hassle of finding a vent to open?
The killer had limited time, to do this stuff, and now that I think about it.

We were all knocked out at the same time, we should've all woken up at the same time."

"It seems we've reached the point of the Trial where we must determine if suicide was possible."

"There are 3 obvious suspects left. Everyone else was seen doing non-murderous activities for more time than the crimes took. Those 3 suspects are Chisa, Ruruka, and Damien. No one else had time to kill 2 people in different locations, nor kill 2 people in one location and move one body, even if they had slightly more time than the rest of us."

"Let's all focus on how, when, and where Chisa and Ruruka died. Let's take it from the top, in fact."


"Ruruka was found in the Kitchen. She appears to have died from something blunt and/or sharp, and her body was mutilated."

"Chisa was found in the Meeting Room. She was killed with a knife. Also, she was pierced with a chandelur once Keita investigated her."

"Finally, the Kitchen was barricaded from the outside by a cabinet, and from the inside with a chair."

"Let's get brainstorming."

"Based on the state of Ruruka's body after her death, suicide seems unlikely. It's a different story for Chisa, however... in fact, it's entirely possible that Chisa was the one who killed Ruruka, then herself. Guilt, maybe?"

"I also do believe that Chisa being the one who committed murder is reasonable...
Did anyone see Chisa at all? We still need a few alibis..."

Kierra blushed and glanced around. "I don't know what you guys think, but I have an idea..." she said shyly. She unzipped her backpack and pulled out a black and gray box. "This is an Ovilus X. It's used for communicating with spirits. It picks up Electronic Voice Phenomena and converts them into a frequency we can understand. With this we could ask one of the victims a question!" she whispered excitedly.

Kierra began the demonstration by clicking it on. She pressed the button again, slightly more frustrated. "Sorry, hold on a second..." she murmured. She carefully removed the back cover. She let out a deep sigh as her face turned cherry pink. "Phoebe, where the hell are the batteries?" she hissed.

"You—what? You're seriously pulling this crap here of all places? Ugh, fine!" Phoebe fumbles her hand in the side pocket of their backpack and removes a tube of chapstick and a roll of pennies. "The hell? They were just in here....you know what, no, I'm not doing this, this is humiliating. I'm not humouring your weird fantasies right now."

Kierra felt a brand new wave of embarrassment wash over her. She awkwardly shoved the electronic box back in the bag, averting her eyes from everyone else in the room.

"Uhhmm.... sorry, everyone... I really thought that could work..." she whispered. Suddenly, an idea struck her, and she looked up. "Wait! I know it's a little old-school, but I do have a Ouijia board. You all know what that is, right? We ask a question together to any spirits present and the planchette moves around on the different letters to spell out a reply. Some people do it by moving the planchette as a group, but I'm worried if the murderer might push it around and change the response... so Phoebe and I can put our hands on it for it to move around," Kierra muttered.

"Is... Is this the time...?"
Kate looked over a little skeptic and confused.

"Well, whatever helps us out at least..."

[Peregrine]

"We could, if you hadn't lost the planchette back at that abandoned waffle house. Can we stick to rational methods here for once?"

"..."

"Wait, I think that's it in my back pocket. Has it been there all this time? Jeez. I'm still not gonna help you with it."

Kierra pouted and looked at her sister. Realizing that Phoebe wasn't about to budge, she turned away. "Fine. But I can't do it with just one hand... I need someone to help me, someone I can be sure is not the killer..." she mumbled. Kierra looked up, locking her eyes on Maximillian. "I know you're innocent. Please, could you help me by lending a hand?" she asked, pun not intended.
