Underground
[third person]
Mes and Sthetho light up the lantern. Sthetho winces in slight discomfort, but she remains ready to proceed.
They follow the straight forward path, and creep down the stairs.
The sound of dripping and rats grows louder.
Turning the corner, some rats run out in front of Sthetho.
She panics, "EEP!" and grabs onto Mes.
They careful proceed forward, as to not step on any rats or anything else.
Upon tip-toeing forward, Mes hears a puddle splash sound, and feels her feet soak in something beneath her.
She reels back, a tad grossed out, and looks down.
Sthetho lets out a yelp once Mes's eyes adjust to the dim light in the room.

{Spoiler}Dark red pools of liquid sprawls out across the floor.
The rats scurry about, bloodied footprints going in every direction.
Mes looks in dismay at the ground, then to Sthetho, who's looking forward.
Mes, then, lifts the lantern to see the rest of the room.

Blood is smeared across the walls; the work of whips and slashing weapons.
The rats mostly cover the girl's legs and abdomen, happily gnawing away at whatever is remaining of her flesh.
From the looks of it, the girl was here for a at least a day, before being brutally murdered and left on the floor for the rats.
Sthetho wobbles forward and gargles out saliva, until at last she convulses and pukes.
She drops backwards, an empty stomach, until she finally passes out backwards, into the thin puddle of blood.
Mes is left, standing there, with only one thought on her mind.
This was clearly Euryale.

Mes stares dazedly at the body and then she said “I-I’m sorry...”
She then let’s out a scream of anger
“T-Tch...I will get to the bottom of this....I will avenge whoever did this to Euryale!”
Mes then looks at Stheno “Hey...I’m deeply sorry to have found your sister...like that...”
She then shines the lantern around the underground to see if there is any sign or a solid footprint deeper into the underground carefully while taking in anything that could have let her to any clue.
