((One thing that this system should have is a direct line of communication between the blackened and the host to get instant feedback on everything around them (I think that if the hosts want a system like this, forum PMs aren't going to cut it, since I could post something so flawed at the very last few minute, leaving Jay with no option but to rewrite my murder in a way even I didn't expect). This direct communication is essential, and it was one of the reasons for why I've been pushing for some element of Skype being used in the past for these trials.

In the one game I hosted on this site, I was constantly PMing Suki in Skype, who was the blackened in that game. I said things like "Are you absolutely sure you'd like to do this? As host, something will happen like this..." so that Suki would at least know how the situation would turn out. I reserved the right to keep pieces of information from Suki if they weren't directly incriminating, because that added to the mystery and gave the innocents some indication pointing to Suki.
Now, granted, my trial had its fair share of unfairness from this, but I think that with practice using a similar system, these games can become more fleshed out and exciting for all parties involved.

However, even with direct communication, there will still be problems, since the blackened could mass-post and not respond back at all. In circumstances like these, either the host shouldn't be afraid to make the blackened easy to catch, or a host with a similar timezone to the blackened should try contacting them. If contact cannot be received, the hosts have every right to make the trial easy for the innocents.))

"Chever, being surrounded by such deaths can lead to feeling such pessimism but we must believe in the good in all of us so we can move towards the best future"

Eden realized Chever wouldn't understand what he was talking about.

"You dont understand. You are losing hope! None of us will be killers. Well, unlike me. But now, I wont kill anyone. The only person I wanna kill is that killer teacher! Besides, he has hope in us. We will leave this place. If we are a team, we will have hope, damn it! So, that wimpy teacher is right. All in vote to show hope, say I."

chever seemed rather far from hope. He shook his head once more.

"Trusting Got some of us killed in the first place... I'm going to die... I know it... I'm going to die in this horrible place, die horribly"

"Grr. Oh I know. Bunny girl is his hope and trusted friend. Someone get her!"

"Probably."

Caution spoke up, still staring down at his hands on the podium like he'd shamefully been doing for a while now. His voice now possessed a tone of soul-rending bitterness. He made use of the podium to push himself into an upright position, and then turned to Chever with a pale expression.

"You probably will if you keep thinking like that. You'll end up dead on the floor just like Lunar, or dead in the Trial Room like Benite or Shujinko. But do you even care what happened to them, or just about what happens to you now? Because if you cared about them, you'd pick yourself the ꜰuck up and try to prevent anything like that ever happening again. It's disgusting watching you stand here and... and give up on living. If you're that willing to die, present yourself to the next killer as a target. It's what I'll be doing, after all."

"How exactly would caring about them make us live any longer? You have to care about yourself and only yourself, because right now it is canis cadem edit, and do you know what that means? Every man for himself. Caring about someone will have you winding up with a knife in your back excuse you could be putting your trust in the next killer. Besides... Did you care when you killed? Did you care that you were wasting a life? What you did was even more disgusting, the fact that you stooped so low in this horrible game so don't tell me what I can and can't feel!"

Chever pointed an accusing finger towards caution, a bit of spit flying from his mouth as he spoke, he looked rather furious on the surface, however it was becoming noticeable that he was breaking down on the inside

"Its not those, Chever. You are acting like Mora, my original with DID. We all are feeling despair, but we aren't losing hope!" Koja picks Chever up. "Hey hall monitor boy! Me, you and Chever, everyone else and mistress Reimei, are gonna need exercises of hope! There's no way we all will kill! We all will survive by not killing. WE WILL SURVIVE WITH HOPE IN OUR HEARTS!!"

For a moment, Caution looked as if he were about to punch Chever, but he managed to fight back the urge and give a more reasonable answer.

"Yeah, I know... I did. There's no getting around it, I did worse than anyone here. Aside from maybe Reimei who almost seems to gloat about it. If I were feeling up to it right now, I'd probably just cause more trouble trying to slam her skull off the ground. But honestly, I can't say I'm better than anyone here because I'm not. But that's my point. I refuse to accept that you can't be better than me. I refuse to accept that you're not stronger than me, and can't get through this without killing or being killed.

I don't want anyone here to do what I did. It's not worth it. I may not have had to look Lunar in the eyes when I killed him but... I can't imagine it hurts more than looking some of you in the eyes. The ones of you who really believed I would never do something like that. It's what I used to believe too."

"You're such a crybaby", Allen sighed, "Either you fight or you don't and offer yourself as a victim for the next murder, would be easier for us. But actually you seems like you're almost getting crazy so I wouldn't be surprised if you're going to kill someone and be the murderer~"

"Keep quiet fancy boy. Right now, Lets all have hope and not kill. We are having despair, but our hope isnt taken away from us. I say the next trial, will be against the killer teacher!!"

((To make one thing very clear: I specifically asked Jay, "Did Haruhi see any blood on caution when he came back to the laundry room to get her" to which he replied, "No". And although your points are valid caution, Eden's statement about the blood does catch my attention. Particularly because when you and I were discussing the lack of blood,t he fact that it could have gotten on the cuffs of your sleeves and was more than likely on the scalpel did come up.

There were also issues with locations in my pm, as based on the fact that I was peering out of the laundry room- I had no way of knowing sugar was heading to the kitchen, or that caution was heading to the infirmary. At the beginning when he said I woke up in the storage room on floor one, he'd also stated it was room 5: but it was actually room 15. Even from there (the laundry room) I would not have been able to clearly see these things.

If anything, this should be taken more as a learning experience about communication and attention to details. What is the point of the map if we cannot reference it for these things? I'm surprised no one was accusing me purely because of the fact that I could not have seen where they were going.))

Don't call me weak when two of you were already driven to murder, at least I didn't kill like a coward, I'm just accepting the fact that I'm going to die here. And don't call me a crybaby when I was amongst the strongest to even look at the... Work those other two did..."

There was already a tear or two running down his cheeks. Looks like the murder and executions are finally getting to him
